Installation Mandelbulb 3D:

1. In Mandelbulb 3d, open the “prefs” tab and navigate to “Map Sequences“

2. Locate the map folder you want to use

3. Check the frame range and “Target Map Slot“

4. Load any HeightMap folder, and in “Map Nr“ put your animated map target slot

MANDELBULB-3D FORMULAS

All the known formulas for this amazing software, more than 500!

HOW TO INSTALL:

1. Extract all the *.m3F files in your formula folder, default is Mandelbulb3D installation folder\M3Formulas\

2. Check the Ini settings in MDB3D under prefs->Ini Dirs->M3F formula and select M3Formulas folder.

3. Restart mandelbulb.

MANDELBULB-3D HEIGHT-MAPS

Heightmaps in MDB3D is really powerful. It’s the only way to import “geometry“ and custom shapes.
You can download a set of Heightmaps created by amazing fractal artist matze2001, or some of our maps. To install, extract all the maps in “M3Maps” folder in Mandelbulb 3d install location. You can load any JPG or PNG as heightmap by setting the “Map nr” parameter to the image number in the following formulas: HeightMapIFS, CylinderHeightMap, HeightMap2IFS, HeightMapLimIFS, SphereHeightMap, CylinderHMVoid, SphereHMVoid, TorusHMVoid.

MANDELBULB-3D LIGHTS/MATERIAL PRESETS

HOW TO INSTALL:

1. Create a folder called “Material“ in your mandelbulb 3d folder location

2. Extract all the *.m3i in Material folder.

3. Check the Ini settings in MDB3D under prefs->Ini Dirs->M3I Light parameters and select the “Material” folder you just created

4. Restart mandelbulb.

5. At the bottom of light tab, you will now have a list of preset to select.
